Gaëlle was spotted as one of the most promising French-British emerging feature film directors by Cannes Critic’s Week’s Next Step programme. She has won a BAFTA and a Cannes Cin√©fondation selection for her short “Fish Never Sleep”. Her short City Paradise was nominated for a BAFTA and won over 50 international awards. Her latest short, “Crocodile”, won the Canal Plus best short film award at Cannes 2014 Critics Week.

Gaëlle has been awarded a place on Torino Film Lab’s Adaptlab in the section film noir/thriller and subsequently on the Jerusalem Film lab to develop a feature project supported by French CNC. She was also awarded a place on Le Groupe Ouest residency where she is developing an original feature script that has received support from Creative England and BFI.
